Real Madrid's Gareth Bale To Transfer To Spurs?

For all Spurs fans, here is some Betway88 Insider football news that you will like - and the new rumours about Gareth Bale have surely got the fans on frenzy. Wales' national football player and winger for Real Madrid, Bale joined the club in 2013, transferring from Tottenham Hotspur. If you are a Betway88 fan, you would probably remember that his transfer then set a record. The agreement was for a six-year deal and he was showing disparities with the club since the beginning of 2019.

Bale attracted attention after the "Flag incident", where he raised a flag that said "Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order" after the national Welsh football team won the qualifier match for Euro 2020. The Welsh fans were amused, but Madrid was not. This caused a rift in the football world, and spurred headlines that claimed that this was Bale's way of conveying a message about his dissatisfaction regarding his club. This was backed up with his mismatched routines when it came to playing for Madrid, like leaving matches early and skipping practice sessions, attempting for a departure in January, leaving to play for Wales within a month out.

In July 2019, Bale was ready to leave the club, according Real Madrid's manager Zinedin Zidane, and later he was on a verge to transfer to the Chinese club, Jiangsu Suning. But it was called off by Madrid, as they changed their demands in his favour. So he decided to stay and began this year's season in Real Madrid. He, however, stated that he wouldn't say that he was playing happily, which cemented the rumours about his wish to discontinue playing for Real Madrid.

On the other side, we have Jose Mourinho, who now has the responsibility of the Tottenham Hotspur. Mourinho was appointed as the manager of Tottenham by surpassing the previous manager, Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday, 19th November 2019. The 56-year-old man had expressed his excitement upon the decision. After the Spurs lost against Liverpool in the final of Champions League last season, they do feel the pressure. The new developments though may mean that Betway88 fans may be more inclined towards betting for the Hotspur.

Mourinho had managed Manchester United in 2016, and led them to victory in Europa League and Carabao Cup in 2017. He had tried to sign Bale to Manchester United then, but his efforts were in vain. And now, with Bale's evident dissatisfaction about staying in Real Madrid backing it up, the rumour that Mourinho will try to bring him back to his old club has started floating anew. Despite the clarification provided by both Real Madrid and Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, which states that the Welshman will not be leaving Madrid anytime sooner or at least till the next summer, hasn't calmed the fans down.

Will the rumours be rendered true? Will Gareth Bale return to Tottenham Hotspur after a long 6 years or will he continue to play for Real Madrid? The questions can only be answered with time.
