Estadio Azteca is one of the iconic stadiums located in Mexico City, Mexico. The stadium hosted two World Cup finals in 1970 and 1986. Estadio Azteca was created by Mexican architect Pedro Ramirez and opened in 1966 with 87,000 seats.
The Azteca is currently undergoing renovations to improve the fan experience at the 2026 World Cup. The renovations include a rebuilt roof, a hybrid grass pitch, new LCD screens, enhanced accessibility, and improved spectator facilities.
