This a lovely ground to watch a game of footabll one of the best grounds in the South of Scotland League with views over the River Dee and has a small Wooden Stand with a pavilion and dressing rooms oppiste with good food although there are not a lot of supporters you are welcome by the home support unless you are a Stranraer supporter.

Location

On the banks of the River Dee some of the views around the ground all year can be spectaclar even if the game is not and they have used the same ground since 1879. getting there is Take the train to Dumfries then walk 5 minutes to the bus station Walk out of the main Booking hall walk down Station Lane into Lovers Walk. stance 5 and get the 500 bus from Dumfries Bus station to Johnston place in Kirkcudbright from there its a five minute walk to the ground.

The wooden stand has ample room and has four rows and is good for sheltering in the winter as the rest of the ground is opend to the weather with a pavilion oposite where you get very nice priced food.

Facilities

apart from the wooded stand and modern pavilion its open to the weater with grass verges

Food & Drink

nice food a good pie and coffee

Police & Stewards

none they do not need it with around 60 people a game

Atmosphere

uness its a Scottish Cup ties there is the usual banter in the stand
