"Great Pies"

has rated Aggborough 4.0 out of 5.

halfdecentone's review of Aggborough

We really enjoyed our first visit to Aggborough. The pies lived up to their reputation, the homemade soup was really good as well - makes you wonder why so many clubs find it so hard to get their catering up to a half decent standard! - away fans were admitted to the social club alongside the ground and had a decent local ale available. Just a few knobheads tried to cause trouble as the 2nd half started, but the stewards & police had them well sorted in good time.

Location

The ground was easy to find, car parking was free, but took a bit of time to get out of (why don't clubs steward the getting away from the ground as well as they steward the getting in?)

View

We stood on the terrace behind the goal and had a decent view throughout.

Food & Drink

Pies & soup plus allowed in the social club! What more do you want!

Police & Stewards

No worries from them and they dealt with the half a dozen knobheads really well.
