"The silence was deafening"

"The silence was deafening". It was almost being in a big morgue! Fancy, colourful, well constructed morgue if that!

The Southampton fans were having a protest at the time against the board but were friendly enough with a lot of away friendly pubs nearby.

Location

Got taken in by bus but everything was reasonably local to the ground.

Quite a good view as you would expect from a stadium of this quality.

No sitting down at all during the game but reasonably spaced.

Facilities

Efficient and clean.

Food & Drink

Again, efficient and good range.

Police & Stewards

Not too bad but not too good either!

Atmosphere

Fantastic acoustics with the away fans but no singing at all from the Saints, except for a light yelp when they scored.
