Certainly huge; visually impressive from the air. Great place to win away, especially in the 3rd Round of the F A Cup or in their relegation season of 1973-74.
For the capacity, the atmosphere should be better than it is. Also, the view from the lowest seats is not great - the camber of the pitch is pretty severe.
Good if half way back in the stands. Not so good if at pitch level or in the gods
Having attended Man U v Leeds and Man U v Liverpool games, I would describe the atmosphere as hostile rather than electric
