"Excellent modern German ground, with lots to do in the area"

Modern ground, in a great complex. Lots to do locally.

Location

Modern ground in a spacious complex, containing a reserve stadium, training pitches, club offices, club shop and a museum. Near a lake and near the Volkswagen plant and attractions. We stayed in a camping site, four hundred yards from the ground. Not sure if there was a lot of parking, but plenty of public transport nearby.

Facilities

All modern and top class.
Free A4 programme handed out as you enter the ground.

Food & Drink

Lots of stall outside the ground. You need a stadium card for the food and drink inside the ground. Bratwurst, etc, all very tasty and very cheap. Wide concourses and large food outlets.

Police & Stewards

Large Police presence outside the ground. Stewards very helpful.

Atmosphere

We sat near the away fans, so the atmosphere was excellent. Good game, two-one, so both sets of supporters engaged for the whole match.
