"Great atmosphere and good football"

Old style stadium, a couple of miles from the city centre, but a good venue.

Location

There seemed to be match car parks, but we parked just up the road. Easy to get away after the game. Not that close to the city centre, but easy to find as it is alongside the river.

View

We were high up in the main stand, so had a good view. Seats fine, if not that clean.

Facilities

Fine, a little dated.
Box office staff very helpful.
Club shop under the main stand, with a good range of products.

Food & Drink

The road outside the ground is closed and lined with stalls. Huge range of hot food. Beer available everywhere. Smaller range inside the ground.

Police & Stewards

No really visible.

Atmosphere

Two-one home win, helped the atmosphere. Decent game of football which the home team controlled. The Mechelen supporters were pretty loyal and vocal too.
